Okay, not so much killer, but maiming. Two days ago I was cutting Audrey's nails and I clipped her thumb. We both cried like, well, babies. She has a little scab, I just know she's going to hold this against me till I die. Then just a bit ago I pinched her hand while clipping her into her swing. Ugh, I just can't do anything right! Anyway, she's asleep now, so I guess it's not all that bad.
So, we took Mia and Audrey to the mall for some professional shots the other day. I wanted to get Audrey at 3 months, and we thought it would be cute to get a pic of them together, so we got coordinating baby Gap clothes and everything. Well, the whole together shot was a dream that just wasn't meant to be... Audrey was staying put alright (due to the whole hardly-being-able-to-hold-her-head-up-yet thing), but Mia would not sit still. We tried everything to get her to sit next to the "Ba Ba" (her word for baby) but she just wouldn't have it. We got some cute individual shots, so we'll all just have to be satisfied with framing them next to eachother. Maybe at 6months/21 months we'll have better luck.

I liked this one the best, even though she licked the blanket a few times before putting her head up. Lord knows how many kids have done god knows what to that blanket at the picture place, but we won't think about that right now...

What a cutie! We could hardly get her to sit down, so the photographer was good at getting her in mid-run around the place.
