Yes, my Blog is 1 year old, what a cute little blog, isn't she?? She's entering toddlerhood, I'm such a proud mom. Although she needs to gain weight by having more entries by her mommy, but I guess I've been a negligent parent by not blogging more often. Again, empty promises of blogging more, I know. I do come armed with new pictures, so never fear...
My excuse (if you care) is the move to the new house. We have a wireless network set up, but it doesn't reach to our office so Cory set our desktop up so we can surf the web on our tv. All this new technology that i have to learn, and I haven't. Plus I couldn't find the cable to download pictures from our camera, but I guess that box was unpacked now. Yes, the move was hectic but we are comfortably in our new pad for now. I had a birthday party last night, so it helped to have a date on the calendar for which we had to unpack by, and it's all good. We had a lot of fun last night; I noted to my friend Kat that I don't know when our parties turned into baby parties, since about half of the people had kids under 2. It was a lot of fun (don't worry, pictures are coming...)
I've been back to work for three weeks now, and it's going quite well. My boss has been remarkably cognizant of my time constraints, which is a nice surprise. Plus it's nice to hear every day "We're soooo glad you're back." :) But now I've been asked to go to Toronto for a week at the end of November. Confronted with leaving Audrey for a week is scary. Granted, Cory and I are planning on going to Tahoe for a few days the following week for our 5 year anniversary (his mom is coming to town to watch Audrey), but I guess I'll feel better being with Cory the first time I'm away overnight. Hell, the first night (again when Sandi was here in June) we just went to dinner and a movie and I was crying on the way home because I wanted to get there faster. What will happen to me when I'm in a whole foreign land? Ugh. I can't decide if I'm going to say no or not. I know I could and it would be fine, but on the other hand it sounds like an interesting conference. ugh.
